Square-bottom Bags

SHAPED PE BAGS

A shaped base for three-dimensional packaging needs.

Square-bottom bags can line bulk bags and cartons, or cover palletized goods and equipment. Actual length, width and height should be considered together with fitting and closure allowances.

Who this is for

For bulk bag and carton manufacturers sourcing liners, and businesses needing covers for palletized goods, machinery, furniture, cabinets or bulk bags.

Applications

  • Bulk bag and carton lining
  • Palletized goods packaging
  • Dust covers for machinery, furniture, cabinets, bulk bags and more

Let’s define your specification

Prepare these details based on your actual application.

Primary material: PE (polyethylene)

  • Length, width and height
  • Liner or cover application
  • Single-wall thickness
  • Fitting method and allowances

State single-wall thickness in μm or mm. Use consistent units of mm or cm for dimensions.

Discuss length, width, height, single-wall thickness and material requirements. Measure internal space for a liner, or the overall load and fitting allowance for a cover. Bag construction, production method and feasible specifications are confirmed for the application.

Can a square-bottom bag be used as a liner or a dust cover?

Yes, but each use requires different measurements. Size a liner for the internal space of the bulk bag or carton. Size a cover for the outside of the equipment or palletized load, specifying how it will be fitted and which surfaces it must cover.

What measurements are needed for a custom square-bottom bag?

Provide the actual length, width and height, and state whether these are internal container dimensions or external load dimensions. Add the closure, fitting or fold-over allowance, single-wall thickness, contents and quantity before confirming finished bag dimensions.

Why does a quotation depend on the application?

Liners and covers may need different dimensions, allowances and materials, so the application helps define a comparable specification. Provide the construction, length, width, height, single-wall thickness, material requirements, quantity and delivery destination. Production method, minimum quantity and lead time are confirmed for the request.
